The Datagauss LG Max is a state-of-the-art pulse technology degausser, with a unique eraser log software, which provides a reporting tool and a record of media degaussed.
The Datagauss LG Max is the most powerful, compact, continuous degausser for hard drives and backup tapes in the range. Media that can be securely erased includes both hard drives that use perpendicular and longitudinal recording techniques, including 5000 Oersted’s and all common backup tapes.
The erasure log software records all operating and degaussing information, which can be saved and printed, giving hard copy evidence of complete erasure for reporting and auditing purposes. Media erased is identified with automatically printed self adhesive label with degaussed details, including media serial number.

Easy Operation
The DataGauss LG MAX has been designed with simplicity in mind. Releasing the catch lifts the lid, allowing media to be placed into the chamber. Closing the lid and pressing the 'erase' button on the control panel activates the charging of the powerful degaussing magnetic field. When the display says the degauss cycle is complete, the lid can be opened and the media removed. The entire process takes just 15 seconds.
Throughout the whole erase cycle the on-board processor monitors the erase procedure ensuring that it is completed correctly. The operator is shown erase progress and immediately alerted to any interruptions in the cycle by messages on the LCD control panel.
Options
Transportation Case: An optional heavy-duty transportation case with wheels is available for the DataGauss LG MAX, enabling you to safely transfer your degausser by road or air, ideal if you have a requirement to erase media at multiple locations.
Barcode Scanner: For easier input of data into the logging software
Label Printer: Automatically prints a self adhesive label with degaussed details, including media serial number
